We bought a house in Utah.
We knew that we would only be there for a year, but
it felt like the right thing to do.
We made a lot of memories in that house in just one year.
The kids collected countless potato bugs and filled up buckets with snails.
I made my first door wreath.
And then a few more!
And then a few more!
We had parties and parties and parties.
We had family fill our halls and our couches and our tables.
We made and ate yummy food, we stayed up late playing games,
We did crafts and learned hard lessons.
We danced around the kitchen and played hide and go seek.
We had cousins and friends over for playdates.
We slid down the stairs in sleeping bags.
We door bell ditched our neighbors and left treats.
We had some fun movie nights.
We pulled weeds and planted a garden.
We felt love fill up our home to the brim.
We loved every minute of it.
We filled the halls with dirty diapers from bringing home a newborn baby.
We filled the entry way with coats and shoes.
Our toys found some interesting homes...
We tried out some good and not so good habits...
Jonas started eating a bite from each banana.
That was a fun stage!
We were sad to say goodbye to our Eagle Ridge house and
mostly to our family who lived so near...
BUT
We are so thankful for the memories that we made
this past year in Utah. There were a lot and they made our life
fuller and richer.
