YEE HAW!

Lucas 10 Months

At 10 months this little guy is on the move!!

Lucas is standing, pulling himself up every chance he gets. He loves to walk along the furniture and people who get in his way. He jibber jabbers and LOVES to copy sister. They have made a game out of screaming back and forth as loud as they can and then laughing hysterically. It's the most fun in confined spaces, like the car. He loves to feed himself and still loves those frozen peas and green beans. It helps that he now has 7 teeth. He also loves to eat chex with daddy just about every morning. He is sleeping GREAT and is still really easy to put to bed...quite the change from his sis. He loves the dogs and will frequently kiss them or bite them. He gets super excited when Jimmy comes home and will go as fast as he can down the hallway to meet him. Madeline used to do the exact same thing. He still loves water and if we go to the beach he will be one of the first to crawl right into the waves. He also really loves the sand. We just LOVE this little guy and are so thankful he is part of our family. We (mostly mom) just wishes he would stop growing up so FAST!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO...US!

We celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary in December. We went out to Buca Di Beppo and a movie....a real luxury for us these days. It was awesome...just the two of us.

I am thankful everyday for my Jimmy. He truly is the man of my dreams and makes me happier than ever could have imagined. I am one blessed blessed girl and the awesome thing is that it just keeps getting better and better.

Love you baby.

Twirly Clothes

These are her "twirly" clothes.

Sample Store

It seems like we go to Costco a lot lately. I can't help it. They have pink lady apples and I haven't found those for years. Paying for a membership is worth the apples...seriously, it is. My kids love to go there, sometimes Madeline will request that we spend the morning at the sample store and then she will insist that she needs one of their giant hot dogs and then she will eat it...all by herself...every last inch of the enormous thing.

Sea Turtles

One of our favorite things to do is going
to the beach to see the sea turtles...
they are just plain AWESOME!

MIlitary Ball

We went to a military ball a few months ago.
The best part of it was that I got to spend the
evening with this hunky man.
While I was getting ready Madeline wanted to get
ready too. She insisted that she wear her princess dress and
that she have princess hair and makeup. Girls
are so fun. She was so excited.

Decko

Madeline loves Geckos...or in her words Deckos.
For a while we would find them in our
house on a daily basis. She named one of them Harvey.
Jimmy was always good to catch them for her and let her hold
them....mom, not so good to do that.
I love the first picture because it shows just how excited
she is, just look at those eyes.

More Zoo

Yep, we are still going to the zoo...
A LOT.

Chinook Family Day & Daddy's Chinook

I know I have said it before, but I will say it again...
Man, my hubby is hot!
I think it's simply awesome that Jimmy flies this beast of
an aircraft. Madeline does too.
We had a family day back in October where the kids
got to climb all over the aircraft.
Here are a few pictures.

Lucas 9 Months

This little boy is the cutest little man.
He melts my heart everytime I see his dimpled smile
or hear his little guy laugh.
He is so sweet and will cuddle and snuggle.
He smiles pretty much all of the time and is pretty
content all day long.
At 9 months he weighs just over 20 pounds.
He is crawling all over the place and is super speedy.
He has four teeth and is sporting the vampire look.
He is the biggest sweetheart and it is so fun
to watch him grow and learn things.
He loves to feed himself.
His current favorite...frozen peas.
He is especially good at mimicking his big sister's
good and naughty behavior...ha ha..

Love you handsome boy!

One of my most favorite things about Christmas.... ANTICIPATION.... I couldn't wait for the kids to come down and see the lights and the presents.

Christmas 2010

Christmas this year was AWESOME.
It felt so good to have Jimmy home and to be able
to celebrate with our whole family together.
I would say that the day was pretty much perfect.
Lucas was the first to wake up and then we went in
and woke up Madeline. It wasn't too hard. Once she
heard that Santa Claus had come she was pretty excited
to go see what had been left.

This year was Lucas' first Christmas.
He is at a fun age where he is interested in the wrapping paper
and the gifts inside. He loved these blocks.

Madeline is really into trains, dinosaurs, and princesses this year.
It is kind of a fun mixture.
They got a train table from Santa.

My mom sent her a pajama doll.
I was so excited (so was she) when she opened it because
I had one of them when I was little.

Loving the trains.

Even the puppies got spoiled.

The pink boots were a BIG hit with this little girl.

Happy boy Lucas.
We spent the day lounging around in our pajamas, we made a breakfast
casserole and watched movies and played with our new toys.
I just love my little family. We truly are blessed.

Christmas Outfits

I had the best intentions of getting a great picture
of my kids all dressed up in their Christmas outfits.
Well, this is the best I got. Lucas is pretty much undressed at this point...maybe next
year we will manage to get a picture of all of us together, or at least the two of them anyway.

More December Happenings and SANTA

Just a few more highlights of our December...
Madeline rode the Polar Express Train at the mall...

We made gingerbread men pops...
and ate them all.

We saw Santa and Lucas was traumatized...

and so was Madeline....

Jimmy's battalion had a Christmas party and
they decorated the inside of a Chinook for
Santa to hang out in...

We had a great time and a wonderful December!
