The rest of our Utah trip...

To finish up our Utah trip we stopped by and saw Jimmy's mission president.  Elder Soares, who is currently at the Church Administration Building.

We were able to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Heath.
As an added bonus, Grandma Becky and Grandpa Larry met us there.

We went with Grandma Terri, Grandma Becky, Grandpa Larry, Jon, Isabella, Natalia,
Liz, Lucy, Tommy, Henry, Morgan and Noah to the Hogle Zoo. It was super fun.  Madeline was picked
(thanks to Grandma) to participate in the bird show.

We had a get together/birthday party for Brian at Brian's house.
It was nice to see all of my siblings in one place at one time.

Grandma Terri and Madeline made me a cake for my birthday, since we missed celebrating with the kids while we were in Alabama.

We said our goodbyes and headed down to St. George to leave our sweet little puppies.
Grandma and Grandpa so graciously agreed to take care of them for a year while we are in Brazil.
Super SAD goodbye.

We woke up and Jimmy's parents drove us to the Las Vegas airport.
Our gateway to the next adventure...back to Alabama.

Camping at Carter Creek

Every year Jimmy's parents rent cabins at Carter Creek in the Uinta Mountains.
We have been able to only go once and have been super jealous of everyone else on the other years.
When we found out that our move might coincide with the camping trip we did everything to make it happen for us, and we are so glad we did!

Jimmy and I arrived in Salt Lake late on Friday and got the kids and grocery packed into Scott and Cassi's car.  There was no way the Camaro would have fit all of us.  They were nice enough to trade us for a week.  Even with a bigger car, we were crammed in there!  I sat with bags at my feet and sleeping bags on my lap the entire drive.  I was SOOOO happy when we finally arrived.  We got there late and tired.  The next morning, the kids were right at it.  They were so excited to be camping and to be able to play with cousins.  They talked about this trip for weeks.

Poor Jonas got stuck with the pink hat.  We forgot his, but it didn't last long.  Daddy bought a new hat for Lucas at the local store.

Fishing is a big deal on this trip. We made sure to get each of the kids their own little pole.
They were in heaven.  I am pretty sure those little poles pulled in more fish than any other.
Madeline would throw her line out and reel it right back in with a fish on it.  She easily caught at least 10 fish.

It was so beautiful and the weather was perfect.
We loved all of the time to play with cousins and aunts and uncles.
We also loved the late nights playing perquackey and phase 10.

Our friend Rick came up and spent the day with us.
That was a treat!

We roasted a whole lot of marshmallows and ate a whole lot of s'mores.
Everyday we took turns cooking and ate some really delicious food.

All of the cousins.

Lucy took the kids to catch butterflies.
They fell in love.

Jonas frequently woke up with crazy bed head.

All of the fish caught in one morning.

Loving those s'mores.

Caught one last butterfly.
It was a wonderful trip!
We are hoping to make it to more in the future!
