Since both Jimmy and Madeline were going
to be out of school for Fall break, we
decided to take a little road trip to Fort Collins, Colorado to
see Jimmy's sister Joanna and her family.
Our car arrived in California from Brazil and was available for us to pick
up the day before we planned to leave on our road trip.
So...my awesome husband flew there and drove back all in one day
and then he drove all the way to Colorado.
He really is amazing.
We had such a good time! We were
able to spend a day in Estes Park, we watched Owen play football,
we got to see Aunt Ann and Uncle Lex and Jimmy's cousin Andrew and his family.
We were able to go to Jason's restaurant, Chimney Park and
eat some A-MAZING food! Seriously, if you are ever in
the area....GO EAT THERE! It is soooo good and has forever
changed the way we eat out.
It was super fun and the kids loved spending time with cousins.
