Yahoo for Freebies!

Yahoo! A few years ago I bought a super nice digital SLR camera and it cost me a pretty penny. It worked great until one day it stopped working. Boo! Come to find out my sister's camera which is exactly the same as mine and we bought them at the same place had the exact same problem. Coincidence I think not! I called the store where the camera was bought, I went into repair stores, I called Nikon and the answer I got was that I would have to pay to have it fixed which would also cost me a pretty penny. I never sent it in to get fixed, not willing to pay I guess. Anyway, the camera has been haunting me. Today for no reason at all I decided to take a look at it. I got online and on the Nikon website I found a link that said I could get it fixed for FREE!!!!! I am so excited I can hardly stand it! Yahoo! Yahoo! Yahoo! I just had to share! Yahoo!

29 weeks 30 tomorrow

Whooooah Belly! Here I am at 29 or pretty much 30 weeks. My belly is growing and growing and she is kicking and moving like crazy! We are really excited because on the 2nd of April we get to have a 4-D ultrasound. I can't wait to see her little face.

We painted the baby room pink and cream. Here is is:

...and about a week later we painted it back to white. We decided to move and the walls have to be painted back before you go so it was fun practice anyway. We probably won't paint in the other house....oh well. It was cute while it lasted. I'm really excited to get the baby room set up. I still have to make curtains but other than that I think everything is pretty much made and ready to go. We have been busy packing boxes and will start slowly moving into our other house next weekend. I'm really excited. The puppies will be in heaven. The yard is so big they will find all sorts of entertainment. We went over and looked in the windows and they are putting in new carpet! Yahoo!

Boo loves to cuddle. It's actually really funny because he hasn't always been that way. It's a recent development. He used to need a ton of space to sleep but now he loves to cuddle up and fall asleep on us.

I sure hope they don't try to eat our baby. Any suggestions for puppies and new babies? I'm sure they will adjust over time but I would like it to be a smooth transition.

I have decided that it's just not fun to get sick when you're all grown up. I remember the good old days when my mom would buy sherbet and popscicles to make everything feel better. I just got over something and now I'm afraid Jimmy has caught it. I feel so bad for him. He's been in bed all day long with a fever and a sore throat. Thank heavens for sudafed, nyquil, and ibuprofen!

I have gotten to the point that it is getting more difficult to wash my feet in the shower. How do you do it? It's so uncomfortable to bend in any direction. I have nothing to do since my hubby is down and out so I will ramble for a bit. I can't believe how quickly this pregnancy is passing! I am already in the third trimester. Our little girl will be here before we know it. I hope we're ready! It's funny because we have looked forward to this for so long and now that it's getting near we wonder what we can do to prepare....really what can we do? Babies really should come with a handbook. She has been moving like crazy lately and her kicks are a lot stronger. I am pretty sure that has been one of my favorite parts of being pregnant. It amazes me that there is a little person growing inside of me. It's really kind of creepy but wonderful when you stop to think about it.

I have been in the mood to clean lately and it's of no use. My house is a disaster. I have decided that since we are moving at the end of the month I better pack while I feel good and feel like it. I have been slowly boxing things up and everything is all over the place. I know I'll be glad when the time comes to actually move it but right now I'm just not sure how much I like living in the cluttery chaos.

I better go check on my Jimmy.

We're Moving!

We have officially decided to move. Funny that we just painted the baby's room and will now have to paint it back. We are silly. We have always kept the thought in the back of our minds but have never found anything that would work because of our puppies. Last Saturday we found a house just right off post in Daleville that has a huge fenced yard and will allow our pups. We're excited. We will end up saving a lot of money. It looks like by the first part of April we will be moving in. We figure we better do it sooner than later. Nothing like moving at 8 months pregnant. ha ha...I'm guessing because I have never been 8 months pregnant before. Wish us luck!

Sleepovers Galore!!

Jimmy had to get back to Alabama before I did so I stayed for another week. We have agreed to never ever do this again unless we are forced to. It's just not fun to be separated.

Even though Jimmy wasn't there to share in it, I did have a lot of fun. I got to have a massive sleepover with my nieces and nephews every night for a week. It was a lot of fun. I can't believe how quickly they are growing up. I wish they would just stop it!

I finally got to see all of my brothers and sisters which was great. We didn't take any pictures of course...what was I thinking?? I got to spend time with my family and it really was wonderful. My mom worried every second of the day that I was bored but it was just nice to be around them. I ate at Einstein Bagels three times, Cafe Rio, Rumbis, La Puente, a great Mexican Restaurant in Ivins, and a Brazilian Cafe in St. George. My tummy was very satisfied. I even got to play Bunco! Yeah for Bunco and I won! Once again, no pictures. So sad.

We loved visiting everyone! Hope to see you soon. Thanks mom!

Kaysville

Our next stop was in Ogden to see Grandma Isakson. I am just noticing that we weren't very good at taking pictures on this trip. They are very limited, hence the picture of me with a massively swollen head? Where did that come from? Anyway, it's always good to see Grandma Isakson. We try to see her every chance we get.

On to Kaysville! We stayed with Alex & Liz for a couple of days. We love to go to their house. Lucy, Henry, and Tommy love it when uncle Jimmy comes to play and boy do they ever take advantage of playing! We wrestled, played in the snow, took Moxy for a walk, made up dinosaur stories, played lots of games, played lite brite. We had so much fun! We can't wait to go back and see them again.

Thanks for letting us invade your home for a few days! We sure enjoyed it!

St. George

You know I really don't feel all that huge and pregnant until I see pictures like this of myself and I think...WHERE DID THAT BELLY COME FROM?? It's HUUUGE!

Our first stop on our trip to Utah was in St. George. We stayed with Jimmy's parents for a few days before heading up or down or whatever direction it is to Salt Lake. They came and picked us up at 1 a.m. Utah time from the Las Vegas Airport and then had to drive us back. We love them! I have decided that they live in one of the most beautiful amazing places. The red mountains, the birds, so much to do and see.

We ate lots and lots and lots of good food, went to an art show, looked at homes that we could never buy, and just had a really fun and relaxing time. We were even able to go to the St. George Temple.

We had a great time! Thank you Mum and Dad!

Utah Baby Shower

Jimmy and I went to Utah for a few days and while we were there my momma gave me a baby shower. It was absolutely wonderful! If you know my mom or her sisters or her mom you know there is always tons of food whenever they are in charge. It was so yummy and perfect. Thank you to all who helped put it together. It was so fun to see everyone and catch up a little bit. These are just a few pictures. We got so much great stuff for our little girl and we are very thankful! (sorry about the sideways pictures)
