Finished At Last!!

Well the day has finally come...I (Missy) am officially a college graduate. Nevermind the fact that I changed my major several times to finish as quickly as posssible so that I could marry Jimmy as soon as possible. All that matters is...I'M DONE!!!!
To the right is my celebration stance. It's actually me playing superhero (long story, don't worry it was for the kids).
I am finally the proud owner of a 2006 bachelor of science degree in the field of human development with a minor in sociology from the one and only University of Utah. (I hope anyway, I guess I should wait to make sure I passed before I make such a declaration) Now I just need to figure out what I can do with it. Ha, just kidding.
For those of you who have made count down chains because you can hardly wait for the day when Jimmy and I get married...we are down to 8 days! WHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! and I mean WHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Road trip from New York to Salt Lake
I thought I would post some of the pictures that we took awhile ago. I probably should have started the blog off with these...oh well. Jimmy and I drove from New York to Salt Lake after his graduation. (This was the week that we also got engaged! Yahooo!!) Here are a few of our stops along the way.
He's so excited about that drink!
Notre Dame, sideways...I don't know how to rotate it...whoops.

The Nauvoo Temple. The man that took this told us that this would be the best picture on our camera. Too bad he cut off the top of the temple. hee hee.

Boat ride down the Hudson River after Jimmy's graduation ceremony.

Carthage Jail. If you haven't been here you should go.
CHOMP!
Gobble...Gobble...
Here we are at Thanksgiving. Jimmy came to Salt Lake and spent it with my family. What started out as a "small" thanksgiving ended up being the typical White celebration with 60-70 people. No surprise that there was tons of food! I think there were 7 different types of turkey, that's right I said 7. Cheese turkey, regular turkey, jalapeno turkey, deep fried turkey, cranberry turkey, and I can't remember the other two. We are still eating leftovers!! Not really but that is just because what didn't get eaten got thrown out a week or so later.
Later that night the Larson's (my cousins) came over and we played games. I wish I would have had a video camera. Jimmy had his shirt over his head while we played murderer in the dark. You always knew where Jimmy was because he would yell "I'm getting out of here!" or he would tromp across the room as fast as he could. It was more entertaining to watch him play than actually play myself.
We're down to 13 days! Yahoo!! In two weeks at this time we will be on the road headed towards Alabama!
