Deja Vu

Since I am so behind in keeping you up to date on our comings and goings I thought I would share a deja vu moment with you.
Today I had a horrible deja vu moment. You will defnintely need some background to understand my terror in this situation. Last winter while peacefully driving myself to work I caught an image of hairy spider legs crawling up under the top of my windshield. So, like a responsible adult I panicked, screamed and came to a screeching halt, jumped out of the vehicle and searched with shoe in hand for a spider that I knew if I found I would not have the guts to kill but at least I would have found him and could keep an eye on him until I could get my mom to drive half way across town to kill him for me. (sigh) Like the time I called her from 800 miles away to walk me through sucking one of the little buggers that to me wasn't so little into my vacuum. With no luck at all I did not see another sight of the creepy crawly legs but panicked everytime I had to get in my car and drive. Each morning my new little friend would leave me gifts of pretty little webs spun right across my steering wheel as if to say....yes I am here and when you least expect it I will jump on you and eat you. I could just see this new little friend joy riding on the top of my windshield while watching me jump at every little movement out of the corner of my eye. Well, with all of my wisdom I decided that the spider was living in my car because it was freezing outside and I frequently was in the car with the heater on. So, with that wisdom I decided to freeze my little friend out (oh yes I would show him) so I turned my air conditioning on full blast in the middle of the winter and wore extra layers of clothing so that I could roll down my windows and watch him jump out while I whisked down the road. Unfortunately I think he started spinning blankets. When nothing seemed to work I got desperate and called the dealership that sold me the car and insisted that they had to get the spiders out and when that didn't work I called a car detailing shop and explained my predicament to which he replied that I had a serious problem. I tried spraying the car with spider spray. Nothing seemed to kill the little bugger and morning after morning I would find little webs so nicely spun where I could easily spot them. When worse came to worse I made my mom switch cars with me so that she could find him and kill him while driving down the road. Then one night mom, me and nat were in the car...mom driving of course because I had to keep a look out...the hairy little legs came running across the dashboard and as we screeched to a screaming halt SPLAT! No more spider....until now.
I think that the relatives of the spider that was killed in the winter called their cousins in Alabama and told them that I would have my air conditioning on in my car and that they could easily escape the Alabama heat by moving in. This afternoon there it was leering at me from the back seat...another perfectly placed perfectly spun web....spider no where in sight. I think I may make Jimmy trade me cars for the next few years.
Here are a few pictures from some of the trips we have taken and visitors we have had. I will upload more pics in the morning....i have lots!
