Picking Strawberries

We went with our friends the Basels to pick strawberries at a little farm in Enterprise.

The kids were so excited about it.

Jonas didn't hesistate, the second he was set down he took off running.

I think all of the kids loved it, but Jonas REALLY

loved it.  He thoroughly enjoyed the experience and took advantage to

eat as he picked. He was very serious about his basked and didn't want

anyone to carry it for him. It was full of half eaten strawberries.

At one point, Jonas just laid down in the strawberry patch and munched away on

all of the strawberries he could reach.  

We ended up with four full baskets.  

We ate them all the way home.  

Painting Birdhouses

Madeline's little friend Arianna came over and

they REALLY wanted to paint.
The made this little birdhouse into a masterpiece.

This is the life

One day my four year old came and asked me if she

could have some cucumbers to put on her eyes.

This was all her idea.

She felt quite relaxed and really enjoyed it.
It really cracks me up.

I happened to walk in on this sweet moment.

I am so thankful that my children have such a wonderful

father who does a wonderful job teaching them the important things of life.

This boy knows how to enjoy a smoothie.

Easter 2013

We had a nice Easter.

We dressed up in fancy church clothes.

Had more than enough egg hunts.

Colored eggs.

Found baskets full of yummy candy, had a delicious ham dinner with friends, and

reflected on the blessings of the atonement and

resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Spilled Milk

We don't cry over spilled milk in our house.

Apparently, we all get on the floor and lick it up.
Ha.

Secret Hideaway

I used to have a little cupboard in the bathroom that

fit a cute basket that I would fill with toilet paper.

That didn't last long.

It has become a secret hideaway and by far the best place to hide

when playing Hide and Go Seek.

Madeline, Lucas and Jonas will spend hours playing in this little cabinet.

It has turned into a place for pirates to hide, a place to put captured fairies, rescued animals

and a nice place to take a nap.

I wouldn't have it any other way.

 

General Conference

This little board is a lifesaver.

It makes Conference so interactive for our kids and so fun.

It was worth the blood, sweat and tears that were shed to make it.

Outside Painting

We LOVE to paint.

Even better is painting outside.

Sally the Turtle

We have a little girl who absolutely

LOVES animals.

She would have a dozen pets if it were up to her.

She recently acquired a new pet turtle.

She named her Sally.
The name she has had reserved for a future baby sister.

I guess I am off the hook. 

Sally is tiny and will remain tiny. 

The kids love to hold her and take care of her.

She has been a fun addition to our family. 

Even Jonas gets in on the fun.
