DADDY IS HOME!!!

Jimmy is finally home!
We are soooo glad to have him home again.
It truly feels wonderful to have our
family back together.
I don't think that I can put our happiness into words.
We are so proud of him and the sacrifices
that he has made. We are also so thankful for
all of your support, love and prayers.
We were on edge about exactly when he would
be arriving. The time and day changed
several times and I got more and more
excited and anxious with each change....
He finally ended up arriving on July 20th around
midnight, but we didn't get to see him until about 3 in the morning.
The kids were troopers and though we all felt and looked tired it
was a blissful reunion and we are so thankful that daddy is home.
Madeline counting down the hours until daddy....

Madeline made some candy leis for daddy and she was a trooper.
She stayed awake the entire time. Mom definitely didn't
expect that to happen.
There was a lot of this...

and this....

and this....

Poor kid was SOOOO tired.

And then there he was!

And there was lot of this....

and this...

The it was off to our house where
we let the puppies in on the
excitement.
Welcome home baby!
We missed you terribly and are so
happy to have you home again!
YAHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Sweetness

This little boy has sweetness
oozing out of him.

rice cereal

Lucas started rice cereal and it has
been VERY entertaining.
I could sit and feed him new
foods for hours and laugh and laugh
at the funny faces he makes.

Of course Madeline has rediscovered her love for
rice cereal since baby Lucas has started eating it.
Everytime I make a bowl for Lucas I have
to make one for Madeline too.

I love this stage of baby.
It's so fun to introduce new things and
watch his reactions.
He is still the sweetest thing ever.

Although he has it all over his face in these
pictures, he is LOVING rice cereal.
He gets super excited when he sees it and
gobbles it down quickly.
